Duyfken at the Swan Brewery landing

The Duyfken 1606, a replica was made of this small sailing ship in 1999 by the Fremantle Maritime Museum, on the 400th aniversary of the original it made a 9 month voyage 12000 km around Australia .

On my 64th birthday in 2004 my wife took me to the old Swan Brewery for lunch , and I took photo's of the Duyfken tied up to the landing stage, the city of Perth on the Swan river is in the back ground

After selling my triptich of Venetian masks, I have done a much larger acrylic 14 x 21 inch framed its 22 x 29 inch, after painting in three masks, I found that the composition wasn't right, so I have included three small sketches to fill in , this is Carnevale Di Venezia, the carnival of venice
